Micah Mallace | President

Micah is President of Harbor Logistics and its subsidiary, Premier Logistics Solutions. He was previously Chief Commercial Officer of the South Carolina Ports Authority where he worked since 2011 in various roles relating to the growth of the Port. The Port of Charleston has been the fastest growing major port in the U.S. since 2009, and Micah was instrumental to that growth, including his role in attracting billions of dollars of new manufacturing, distribution, speculative warehousing, and supporting infrastructure.

Micah previously worked for Riverstone Residential, handling property management within the multifamily sector, and for Vail Resorts, handling sales for the resort company.

Micah graduated from the College of Charleston with a Global Logistics and Supply Chain Management degree and an MBA in Finance. He has been fascinated with the economics of global supply chains since circumnavigating the world, visiting ports in Asia, India, Africa and Latin America on a study abroad program.


CHRISTOPHER ABETZ, JR. | CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Chris is the CFO of Harbor Logistics and its subsidiary Premier Logistics Solutions. Chris brings with him a successful track record of leading finance and accounting teams with a focus on improving an organization’s financial reporting and controls. Chris has 10+ years of experience supporting businesses in the transportation and logistics industries. Most recently, Chris served as the Chief Financial Officer for PEOPLEASE, one of the nation’s largest Professional Employer Organizations (PEO), providing value-add, business solutions to small and medium sized business in the trucking, warehousing and manufacturing industries.  

Prior to his work at PEOPLEASE, Chris held several positions for Benefitfocus (NASDAQ: BNFT), a publicly traded software company, where Chris worked to build out the accounting processes and functions of a then newly public company.  Prior to Benefitfocus, Chris held various roles withing ConAgra Brands (NYSE: CAG), with a focus on process improvement and cost reductions. Chris began his career as an auditor for KPMG with a focus on global manufacturing and distribution clients.

Chris holds master’s and bachelor’s degrees in Accounting from James Madison University.


Jamie Taylor | Director of Sales & Client Solutions

A native of Charleston, Jamie attended the University of South Carolina where he received a Bachelors in Business Management and Marketing. Jamie also holds his MBA from Charleston Southern University. Upon undergraduate completion, Jamie handled International Logistics for the marine division of Cummins Inc. in Charleston. Jamie then went on to a Sales and Marketing role at OOCL. Prior to arriving at Premier Jamie handled Inside Sales at the South Carolina Ports Authority. Jamie has experience at various levels of supply chain: OEM, ocean carrier, port, and now at the 3PL segment where he has handled sales, operations, marketing, strategic planning, customer service, and business development. Jamie lives with his wife Nicole and their three kids Anna Margaret, Sarah Catherine, and James in Mount Pleasant SC.


Lisa Manus | Transportation Director

Lisa has been with Premier since 2007.  A native of New Hampshire, Lisa graduated from the University of New Hampshire in Durham with a B.S. degree in Zoology and a Business minor. Since Lisa joined Premier Logistics has held the positions of Logistics Services Manager and Transportation Manager. She was then promoted to Transportation Director in 2015.  Prior to joining Premier, Lisa had worked for over 7 years in the logistics and transportation industries for a third party warehouse, a customs broker, an intermodal trucking company and for a manufacturer of wood moldings products as Traffic Manager. She is an active member of local organizations such as Charleston Women in International Trade, Customs Broker & Freight Forwarding Association and is on the Board of Directors for the Charleston Motor Carriers Association.
